This is another decent time waster from the Netflix library.
A sci-fi thriller in the mold of Cube , this flick has only three characters and takes place almost entirely in one house. It features a strong female lead, a one-dimensional but sufficiently evil baddie, and a naive and somewhat unstable AI modeled after HAL9000.
It has decent writing, slick looks, and enough plot twists to keep it not entirely predictable. Gary Oldman as the voice of Tau really sells the AI’s personality well . I give it 3 out of 5. Worth your time.

Saw the trailer, kind of dismissed it as cruelty for it’s own sake techno-torture as a plot...
is there more to it than that?

Weird thing about the trailer is that it was cut almost entirely from the beginning of the film, and it made it seem like Saw or the like. Turned out to be different. Extraneous people died. in the beginning, but very little violence after that.
